Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.”
The bible talks about how Jesus loved children. And children are the future of the church. That’s why the Sunday School program is so important at St. Andrews. We may be a smaller group but we have a lot of fun! St. Andrews Sunday School invites children of all ages to join us! Sundays during the 9:30 am service (Yes, even adults! Or very little ones!). Find us on social media – we have a Facebook page! |
What to Expect
Typically, we will start the service at 9:30 a.m. with the congregation in the church. The minister will do a quick “children’s sermon” (a lesson/bible story to kick off our day). We then go to the parish hall for prayer, bible stories, crafts, games and fun!!
Parents are invited to come along, or send their children to Sunday School so they can worship.
The Sunday School Calendar has been structured to not have class during long weekends or school vacations. For the 2022-2023 calendar year we will being learning more about our Sunday services. We’ll learn about the prayers we say in the service, why we sing in church, and why we listen to stories to the bible during the service. We’ll have fun while learning about the traditions of our worship which will hopefully help the children understand and enjoy the church service.
